Bareskrim Polri (Indonesia’s national police criminal investigation unit) seized a luxurious house in the Alam Sutera residential area of Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel) in connection to the NET89 trading robot case involving suspect Andreas Andreyanto. The Rp 15 billion house is intended to be occupied by Andreas’ daughter, identified as MA.

Suspects: Andreas Andreyanto and his wife, Theresia Lauren (TL). TL, one of the 14 new suspects in the money laundering (TPPU) case, is the registered owner of the house.

Occupants: The house will be occupied by Theresia’s daughter, MA, who is currently in police custody along with other suspects.

Building Renovation: The contemporary modern-style house, constructed on two land certificates, was initially renovated in 2021. Renovation ceased in October 2024 after police traced funds from the NET89 fraudulent investment scheme.
Previous Seizures
Prior to this, the police had already confiscated two cars from the property - a black BMW X5 and a Porsche, currently held at the State Asset Recovery Agency (Rupbasan) warehouse.
Legal Proceedings
The police, including Kompol Karta from the Economic Crimes Special Subdirectorate (Dittipideksus) under the Main Directorate of Criminal Investigation, have submitted the case files to the public prosecutor. This step aims to legally determine the status of assets owned by the suspects, totaling Rp 1.4 trillion seized in the investigation.

Other Suspects: Along with Andreas Andreyanto, Lauw Swan Hie Samuel, Erwin Saeful Ibrahim, and several others are implicated in the Net89 case. Efforts are underway to track two fugitives believed to be abroad, in Cambodia.

Total Victims: The case, which saw the seizure of Rp 49,757,763,270.96 in cash, has 2,388 reported victims. Andreas and Lauw Swan Hie Samuel are currently listed as wanted persons.
